SANTA PAULA EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Diana Ponce-Gomez was born and raised in Santa Paula. After graduating from Santa Paula Union High School in 1988, Diana obtained a B.A. in History from UCLA, cum laude (1992), and a law degree from UCLA School of Law (1996). Diana and her husband, Ed (Santa Paula High graduate), live in Santa Paula with their three children, who attend Santa Paula schools.

 

Diana has served on the Board of Trustees for the Santa Paula Unified School District since 2012, serving as President in 2014. She previously served on the Board of Trustees for the former Santa Paula Union High School District (2008-2013), where she served as Board Clerk and President. She has been a member of the Santa Paula Education Foundation since 2008. Diana’s family honors her father, Robert, who was a teacher at Santa Paula Union High School and member of the Santa Paula Education Foundation, by giving scholarships in his name through the Santa Paula Education Foundation.
