SANTA PAULA EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Karen Giroux has served on the Santa Paula Education Foundation for 28 years.  She is retired from the high school after 27 years as a counselor.  Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Chico State in 1987 and a Master of Science in Education from California Lutheran University in 1989. She began work at Santa Paula High in the fall of 1993. Karen has served as the Agricultural Academy counselor and the counselor for students enrolled in the Career Education courses in Camarillo. She has the scholarship committee for many years and helped to organize the yearly Senior Awards Night. Karen lives in Goldsboro, North Carolina with her youngest daughter, Michelle. Her oldest child, Erika is a registered dietician and lives with her husband in Camarillo.
