SANTA PAULA EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Kelley Payne was born and raised in Santa Paula, graduating from SPHS in 1994, and returning in 2007 as an English teacher.  Kelley attended Ventura College and later obtained her B.A. in Liberal Studies and Teaching Credential from the University of La Verne.  Kelley and her husband, Nick Payne (SPHS graduate), live in Santa Paula with their two children, who attend Santa Paula schools.  

 

Kelley is currently the ASB/Activities Director, English teacher & Dept. Co-Chair, and SPHS Pep Squad and Fashion Club Advisor.  In addition to teaching and coaching, Kelley has served on several committees such as School-Site Council, LCAP Advisory, and CALLI Collaborative.  Kelley is most proud of the dedication of the SPHS tennis courts in memory of her late father and teacher, Dave Dike.  The Dave Dike Family tennis courts serve the community and remind Kelley that great students, athletes, and families reside in Santa Paula.
